    food service
    bathroom flooding

the absence of food service was absolutely horrifying, especially after a late arrival. i expected at least a complimentary snack to welcome me, yet i was greeted with an empty stomach! also, the shower curtain was way too short, leaving my bathroom a flood zone. i almost wrote a glowing review, but just couldn’t.

    serene atmosphere
    limited dining options

The atmosphere at Casa Tortugas is wonderfully serene, providing a

perfect escape from the bustling tourist spots. The clean, spacious room with a lagoon view was delightful, and watching the sunset from the rooftop bar was a highlight. One minor issue was the limited dining options nearby, but the friendly staff helped with recommendations and made our stay enjoyable.

    amazing rooftop view
    spacious kitchenette
    limited dining options
    weekend coffee closure

Casa Tortugas feels like a hidden culinary treasure! The rooftop area, perfect for sipping on cocktails while enjoying sunset views, adds magic to your evening. Plus, the room was spacious and equipped with a kitchenette, making self-catering a breeze. You can easily stroll to Playa Tortugas for local grub or catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres nearby.

The sunset bar and coffee spot are closed on weekends, leaving you on a trek for a decent brew. The hotel operates more like a luxury apartment complex, which is fantastic, but it would’ve been handy to know I might need to grab a bite before arriving. Ordering food can be an adventure—with delivery taking ages or resorting to a gas station dinner isn't ideal!

This family-owned boutique hotel is truly a hidden gem. The outdoor pool was fantastic for my kids, and we loved the sunset views from our room overlooking the lagoon. stunning sunset
    well-equipped kitchen
    limited dining
    slow delivery
    commute inconvenience

The rooftop area offers stunning sunset views, providing a magical setting for evening cocktails. A large, comfortable room with a well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare our meals, adding convenience. While there were limited dining options nearby, the staff went out of their way to assist with local recommendations and transport arrangements. However, the lack of on-site dining and slow delivery options were disappointing aspects of the stay.

    unique atmosphere
    exceptional hospitality
    beautiful infinity pool
    limited dining options

Casa Tortugas Boutique Hotel, An Authentic Hidden Gem offers a unique and cozy atmosphere that is far from the typical all-inclusive experience in Cancun. My one-bedroom suite was newly furnished, with a spacious layout, complete kitchen, and a comfortable bed. The owners displayed exceptional hospitality, providing personalized concierge services and valuable recommendations for local dining. The well-maintained grounds feature a beautiful infinity pool with ample lounging areas, and the breathtaking sunset views from the bar significantly enhanced our stay.

Limited nearby dining options could require a taxi for meals.
